Nuworld Ambrosia
a fortifying blend of wild rice, red rice, black sweet rice, and brown rice

Nuworld Ambrosia

"Just a spoonful of black rice bran contains more health promoting anthocyanin antioxidants than are found in a spoonful of blueberries, but with less sugar and more fiber and vitamin E antioxidants," study co-author Zhimin Xu said in a news release from the American Chemical Society.

According to a 2006/2007 study conducted in Thailand, the antioxidant activities (DPPH) of red rice is higher than black rice and black sweet rice (88.95%, 83.91% and 81.15%, respectively).

These three varieties of rice are not only better and cheaper than blueberries as sources of antioxidants, they also have much less shrinkage. However, I want to remind you that no rice can last forever. Also, due to the brand layer, whole grain rice becomes rancid and infested quicker than white rice. FYI, all our products are assigned 100% traceable control codes.

Asian people are very familiar with the many ways of using these varieties of rice: mixing and cooking with white rice, congee, wrap in bamboo leaves or lotus leaves with stuffing, desserts, and my personal favorite - winy black sweet rice dessert served chilled or hot. It's cooked black sweet rice fermented into sweet wine.

These varieties are also gaining popularity amongst mainstream consumers as side dishes or in soups. I often suggest using them to replace croutons in stuffing (when I used to cook a lot for families and friends, my rice turkey stuffing was never enough for the second servings). The other popular suggestions is burgundy rice pudding made with black sweet rice. This dessert is easy, gorgeous, tastes great, and is HEALTHY! I can go on and on about many delicious dishes that can be made. I can't help it…I love to eat, and I preach rice.

We have 8 products that contain these three healthy varieties of rice. However, rice mills' inventories are low now, and the new crop will not be available until December.
